I’ll give you a tour on my 3D Hamburger Kiosk Floor Plan. The exterior of the kiosk has walls, menu board, signage and roof. The walls and roofs have ridges to add texture. Inside the kiosk is a hamburger grill on top of a table. It has hotdogs, burger patties, egg ring and spatula. There is a yellow chair for the crew. On the right side there is a rack for egg trays, storage for buns, gallons of ketchup and mustard. Don’t forget their squeezer counterpart beside the tissue holder. On the left part, there is a fridge for soft drinks in the can. There are red chairs on the side of the kiosk. There is no chair in the front to prevent blockage for buyers.
The style is rugged and the branding is dark green, red, yellow and dark grey.
In this video, I’ll give you a tour on my 3D floor plan of a Tapsilogan Floorplan. Tapsilog means Tapa or Beef, Sinangag or Fried Rice and Itlog or Egg. I designed it with a claustrophobic space because it is meant for food takeout and few diners.
I divided the floorplan into three parts - the dining area, kitchen and washroom. The branding of the dining area is deep yellow. It is based on the color of the egg yolk and elicits a happy color to attract especially students. It has a narrow long table, round chair and a counter where the food will be served.
In the kitchen, you can see the equipment that I made. The oven has a rice cooker, pot and frying pans. On the top of the sink there are two thermos.
In the rack area, there is a bottle of ketchup, plates, cups and tumblers. Near the washroom is where I placed the 90’s style crate of soft drinks.
I thought that the equipment I made would fill the floorplan. However it is quite big and may take longer for me to finish. For now let us leave it this way.
This is the part three of our 3D Tapsilog Floor Plan. These are the kitchenwares or the tools that are used for cooking. We have the pot or caserola for boiling liquid, then the rice cooker that is quite large. You have the drinking or the water glass that is not made of glass. I don't know know how to call it if it's not made of glass. It's like a thermos. Then we have the kawali or frying pan with two handles then another with one handle. We actually have this kitchenwares at home but I'm not able to to measure it because they're a bit large and quite dusty and I'm not feeling well. I have a cough but yeah I tried to make 3D models today. So I'll be showing you the wireframe and the 3D models for this without lighting and color.
This is the part two of the 3D Tapsilog floor plan series. What is Tapsilogan without soft drinks and ketchup? We made the sketch of Coca-Cola 1.5 bottle and the other one is Pepsi. If you noticed, there's a timeline of 2024 and 1990s. Back in the 1990s, the bottles are made of glass unlike now, it's made of plastic. When they are delivered, they are in a crate. Crate before was made of wood then plastic. I think now, if you to buy a bundle of coke, they are sealed in a thick plastic so there's no crate anymore. I think crates are used for liquor and other spirits.
If you compare the 1990s Pepsi and Coke bottle, Coke is already curvy and voluptuous while Pepsi is got its sleek design. I made this 3D version of Pepsi because I find Coke very complicated especially the bottom part. I do not know how to create this on 3D.
For the ketchup, UFC is the prototype. UFC ketchup is made of banana and not tomato. They really made an amazing packaging although I I was able to make a mockup up but I wasn't able to get this curvy part.
As discussed last time, we'll be creating some utensils for the 3D Tapsilog floor plan that we are working on. Let's start with the thermos. I think you call it va acuum flask but we call it here thermos in the Philippines although thermos is a brand. Anyway this is the actual measurement of a common thermos you see on every household. Then I made a version 2. I want it to be more rugged.
This the sketch and I also made some measurements for the plates and cups. Here are my actual sample that's vintagey and I think this is the plate very ceramic, very thick plate. Then I'm going to show you my actual 3D. This is the actual 3D model that I made for the thermos. There's the version one and there's the version two plus you have the cup and the plate. It would really take time for me to measure each part but yeah there's always a payoff.
I’ll give you a tour on my 3D floor plan of a Bulalo Espezial Restaurant. Bulalo is a popular Filipino beef stew that is identified with my beloved province which is Cavite and as well as in Batangas. Bulalo is perfect during this cold holiday season here in the highland part of Cavite especially in Tagaytay City.
Let us start with the Dining area. The improvements here that I added are the rugged, grungy style, the graphic contrast of red and green for the branding and the dramatic lighting system. These are indicated by the black brick wall, glowing red logo, green motif and the suspended lights. For the equipment, there is a counter to greet the guests and an altar on top of it. This is the reused bench from my 3D office. There are tables for groups of six and tables for 1 or 2 persons. There are paintings of sneakers. Without them, they look like dead, blank walls.
For the kitchen, there is a refrigerator, the reused water dispenser, a table for chopping ingredients, the oversized sink that fits here and two gas ranges. The lighting here as well as in the washrooms are more utilitarian than decorative.
For the washroom, the men’s have a urinal that took me a while to figure out to model because of its slanted front. And for the women, this is the sixth version of my toilet bowl.
I just love how it turned out just like what I pictured in my mind. For restaurants, I prefer a grungy style than a homey, cozy, boring and introverted ambience.
This is useful if you are in the consulting business or small agencies. It has 2 main sections - the reception and the washroom.
In the reception you have the bench where the waiting clients will sit. There are tables and two boss chairs where the professional and client will talk. A steel cabinet to organize the files, the 50 inch tv for entertainment or presentation and air conditioner. We also have a wall painting of red sneakers and of course an altar for divine providence.
In the hallway near the bathroom, we have a multifunctional cabinet where you can keep some equipment and on the top, you can put a coffee maker, cups and other utensils. Beside the cabinet, you have the water dispenser.
Let us now go to the washroom. It has a sink for handwashing and a toilet bowl. Modeling the toilet bowl is very challenging because it has indefinite size. It took me 5 times to model it and still needs improvement. There’s also an oversized sink that didn’t fit anywhere. I just archived it for future use.
